TD Innovation Summit ---“The TD Innovation Grand” was held in Beijing Shangri-La Hotel by TD Industry Alliance on 4th, Feb. 2010. The event recalled the TD industrial development, especially in the first year of the achievements of TD, as well as sharing the common vision of a prosperity blueprint for the development of TD Industries. Around 500 attendees from the National  Development & Reform Committee; Ministry of Industry & Information; Ministry of Science & Technology;  State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; Beijing Municipal Governments; TD Industry Alliance enterprisers; overseas operators; overseas organizations and units; embassies of many countries; and industrial leaders/experts had joined this grand ceremony.  

In the ceremony, it also conducted a comprehensive review on the TD industrial’s development; enterprisers with remarkable contributions are selected and rewarded with different outstanding awards for TD innovations. Meanwhile, on the event, it selected the best received by the market and consumer’s favorite TD terminals and products, which demonstrate the latest achievements in industrial development of TD. As the result of “Passion, Innovation & Detail” work on TD industry, Borqs has won “The Innovation Award of TD Terminal Application Platform” prize.         

Reviewing over the 2009, TD-SCDMA industry has grown prosperously: 3G license was issued; TD-SCDMA network was put to commercial use; OPhone launched successfully; TD-SCDMA industry chain constant development and improvement, with a clear industrial expansion need.

Meanwhile, TD started its overseas deployment; TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE technology had gained great attentions from international related industries. The future emphasis for TD will be focused on developing follow-up technology and products; pushing TD-SCDMA technology and industry develop continuously; and at the same time, getting further supports from the government, enhancing communications with operators, integrating each industrial chain for a better common development; building and expanding the TD business relationship with related international organizations are crucial; actively participating in the international competitions, pushing forward TD to be used in the global market, thus establishing an important strategic position at the global 3G market for China.
